"The Experience of Creating a Myth"

The joint diploma project of three graduates of the Graphic Design faculty of The Nizhny Tagil State Pedagogical Institute was perceived by the members of "Zer Gut" art group as a challenge to the system of art education and to the understanding of a work of art as a work of a lonely genius.
Installation "The Experience of Creating a Myth" was created in an old half-demolished house full of garbage in the centre of Nizhny Tagil, not far from the local museum. The totality of the myth in the ruins obtained an ironic dimension, but the birth of artists took place. For Vladimir Seleznyov this joint diploma project turned out to be his personal artistic programme.
